Master Thesis
The Chair of International Management focuses on research in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The studies are embedded in different contexts and investigate phenomena from global expansion & internationalization strategies, digitalization, and innovation management. The master thesis topics focus on DEI.
Upon acceptance to the master thesis seminar, students are assigned a thesis topic. You do not need to submit a proposal. Any prior meeting to discuss thesis topics is not necessary.
If you would like to write your thesis in cooperation with an organization or submit your own research proposal, please ensure that your topic fits with the focus of DEI. Further information on these types of theses is provided here.
What we expect from you
- Willingness to acquire new skills through self-study
- Interest in DEI topics
- Successful participation in at least one of our master’s courses
- First experience with empirical research (e.g., data analysis in SPSS, conduction of interviews)
- Participation in all seminar meetings

How to Apply
Our master thesis seminar typically starts at the beginning of a semester. The application period is in March for the summer semester and September for the winter semester. In winter term 2024/2025 we do not offer anymore the supervision of master theses due to capacity reasons. It is going to change next summer term.
