Prof. Dr. Schmidt becomes Prorector for Teaching and Studies
Prof. Dr. Susanne Schmidt has been elected to become the new Prorector for Teaching and Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. As of the winter semester 2020/2021, she will succeed Prof. Franziska Scheffler and take over her tasks.
As Prorector of Teaching and Studies, Prof. Dr. Schmidt will be responsible for the strategical planning and quality management of teaching and studies. Other key topics will include sustainability and digital teaching at the Otto-von-Guericke University. Moreover, she will cooperate closely with students and faculties and exchange ideas on current topics and concerns. Monthly meetings with representatives ensure an ongoing discussion on challenges and opportunities and provide the foundation for constant improvement of teaching and studies.
But don’t worry: Prof. Schmidt keeps her position as chairholder for International Management and will continue teaching! Check out all courses for the winter semester 2020/2021 here.
