Our IMME master's student Hakan took the opportunity last year and describes it as an excellent experience and a good opportunity to gain knowledge about doing business in China:
"The Tongji summer school offered insights into China's trade history, future development plans and the cultural aspects of doing business. Also, we had the chance to see the world’s biggest port and attend the Shanghai Innovation Conference. Besides, the summer school offered cultural events such as dumpling preparation, painting (guóhuà), and even kung-fu lessons in addition to many different museum visits. Culture, business, and sightseeing travels were well organized. In our spare time, we had the opportunity to visit companies, fairs, and even other cities for daily trips.
The Shanghai Summer School will bring you a different perspective on doing business in China and you can see the different viewpoints of people from many European countries. I would clearly recommend this summer school: one month of school with a value of years of experience."
